We are on VACATION! YAY! Blog Update Info also!

Hi Everyone,
Well Tina came to my house for a visit and we shot a video for the blog.  It was madness and mayhem in my household as our children ran wild and we did fun stuff in my scrapbook room. I made a box that I found on My Chic N Scratch You Tube channel.  So when Tina was here she made it also! It was so fun.  Here's the box and our video:

Also we have big news. We are going to have a new look on our blog.  We feel like it needs to be a little more organized and more professional and a bit easier to navigate.  So Tina will really not be on vacation this week because she'll be updating blog stuff.  With that said if you see changes or can't find something that you'd like to see please let us know! Or if you have input on what you WOULD like to see on our blog send us an email!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone! We will be back Jan 2nd and ready to give away gifts to start the New Year right :-)

CCA - Part 5 - Font Cartridges

Hi Everyone,
This week we are looking at 4 different font cartridges.
The first 3 we are looking at are the Font Cartridges that come with each of the machines.
You can check out the difference in the machines by going to our Everything Cricut

 Don  Juan: Cricut Create
George & Basic Shapes: Baby Bug
 Plantin Schoolbook: Expression

I used these 3 Font Cartridges in our video below. Wendy used Storybook for her project.

Here are pictures of our projects!

I did a layout which just happened to be one of our sketches that we featured earlier this month!

We hope are enjoying this series!

Ornament Boxes - Martha Stewart "It's a Good Thing"

Happy Friday Everyone!
Well Tina's on vacation in Nevada as everyone knows and I have been ALONE to work on projects and scrap for a week now.  She will be at my house on Sunday though for a visit.  I am so excited.  We are going to exchange Christmas gifts and I can't wait to see her and the kids.  I have requested she NOT look at our blog until after Sunday, but I am not sure she will adhere to my request.

Anyway, I got a Martha Stewart Scoreboard and I love it!  It's WONDERFUL!  I have made ornament boxes with it, so you have to check out my video below.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Cricut Mats!

Hi Everyone,
I'm on Vacation right now.... spending some wonderful time with my family in Nv !

Here is a small video that I shot a few weeks back regarding my Cricut Mat! It happened while I was skyping with Wendy and she said "You have to share that!"

 So enjoy!

Here is the first video on resticking your Mat. You DO NOT have to use brake cleaner, I use oven cleaner some times, or just use baby wipes and then hot water and soap.
The point is just to get your Mat as clean as can before using anything to restick.

Robyn over at My Pink Stamper has a great video on how to do this with a Zig 2 Way Glue Pen.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Holiday Season!

Happy Holidays

Hey Everyone,
This is Tina checking in with everyone....
I'm in the middle of Nv with limited internet access so I'm not really around and Wendy's computer crashed a few days ago with over 300 virus on it.

Lucky for Wendy she got her Computer fixed and will be picking it up tonight so she will be back online shortly.

I hope everyone is having a great Christmas/Holiday Season.
My family celebrated Christmas this morning and I'm so excited I got a Gypsy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was so very excited get online and "Update" my gypsy to load up my carts I got only to realize that I don't have my cricut so I can't update it! BUMMER!

I will be seeing Wendy on the 19th and I will maybe update it then.

So the deal is we will post when we are able to  and we hope that everyone is having a great holiday season.

 Happy Holidays

Projects, Projects & More Projects

Hey Everyone,
This is Tina and yes I'm still on Vacation but I put some posts together before I left so I could keep sharing with you guys.

This is the first year that I have done so many projects with Cricut!
When I got my Cricut a few years back I never thought I would use it for anything other than SCRAPBOOKING!
When Wendy got her Cricut a few months later she dove right in to "project making"

Now I have used my Cricut for everything! I've decorated my house for my kids birthdays, for Holiday's and most recently I've been doing lots of Christmas Projects.

I thought I would share a bunch of them here!

Here is the basket with the bottles of M&Ms

I used Very Merry Tags & the Wonderful Winter Christmas Stack from My Minds Eye

This is some snowman kisses I made for my Husband & my Daughters stocking

This I used Storybook & Snow Friends

Here is a cute little bag of candy I did for a co-worker at my husband's job.
These are Hot Tamales in the bag and the saying says: "I heard you were naughty this year, so for Christmas all you are getting is this reindeer poop"

I used Create a Critter for the reindeer

And here is a video I did of the stuff I sent to Iraq for our Military Family

I used Doodlecharm & Paper from "Tis The Season" from DCWV

Thanks everyone, I hope you are having an awesome holiday season.

Update on our Military Family

Hi Everyone,

First we have to say we are sorry for not keep up on these updates. It seems like Wendy and I have been super busy with Christmas EVERYTHING.  From projects to gifts to craft fairs! UGH! So busy

 Lets do a Recap:
October: Tina had Iraq and she sent a a box full of candies with a little topper that said "We Apperciate You"  Two things happened that I'm not happy about. 1. I forgot to take pictures of this to post. 2. My box never made it to Iraq.

Wendy had Shelia and the kids and she sent them the Carmel Apple box which we featured pictures of them getting and making the apples.

November: Wendy had Iraq and she did basically the same thing I did the month before and she forget to take pictures as well. So there you go! But Sean and his platoon did receive them along with other goodies that were sent.

Tina had Shelia and the kids and sent them a mini paper bag Thanksgiving album and some stuff to go along with it.

(Okay here is the deal the people... Its the night before I'm leaving for Vacation and I'm in the middle of packing and planning and I can't seem to find the pictures or video or whatever I took of what I sent Shelia. I sent a paper bag mini album that I made, I included letter stickers, die cuts,  and stickers. Along with some solid paper and pattern paper that matched.  I also made a card and included a Christmas Card since I just got this stuff mailed today!  I know... I'm really bad about getting stuff to the post office)

 December:
Wendy has Sheila and the kids.  Here are the photos of what I sent.  The card I made for Sheila to send to Sean.  In side it says "My heart is with your heart"

Tina has Iraq and I made up these cute little snowman bags! They have some candy canes & hot coco with marshmallows in them and then a Christmas Card for each of the guys.

For Janaury Tina will have Shelia and the kids and Wendy will have Iraq again.
We promise to be better at taking pictures and keeping all of you updated.

 Thanks everyone,

Holiday Projects... Yes there are more

Hey everyone,
Well Tina left on vacation, :-(  But she left a few posts behind to keep you entertained so you will see those from her.  Also, this means I have NO SCRAPPIN BUDDY!  FOR TWO WEEKS!  OMG!  I am not sure what I am going to do.  I see lots of You Tube videos in my future while scrapping and some movies on the computer.

Anyway, this is a video I did to just show you some of the Christmas projects I've done.  These are for gifts for friends, and family.  Thanks Robyn from My Pink Stamper for the great video on mass producing cards! Love it!

Thanks everyone,

Christmas Vacation

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let everyone know the winner from last Tuesday Blog Candy
 And the winner is: Kelly
Please email us with your mailing address: twochicscricut@live.com and please email me this information no later than Wednesday as I'm headed out of town on Thursday.

****
I'm loving this holiday season.... I don't know what it is this year but I can't get enough of the shopping, the christmas music and the cold, crisp nights!

This is really not at all like me... I'm very much the kind of person who likes to stay home! You see I like to see the rain and snow, but I don't like to feel the rain and snow!!!!!!!

So for whatever reason, I'm loving being out and about! And this year for Christmas my family is making the 6 hour drive to be with family!
We will having a great time going and getting our Christmas Tree, baking apple pies and sugar cookies and for sure making memories that will last a life time.

On the 19th of December I will be at Wendy's House for the day and we will be hanging out and exchanging gifes and planning some big events for our blog in 2011! We are super excited to get to spend a few hours together for the holidays and let our girls exchange gifts.

So I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! Wendy is going to be around for a few more weeks to get us through this Holiday Season!

 Merry Christmas Everyone,

Cricut Cart Adventure - Part 3 - Animal Kingdom

**** Check Out Tuesday's Video (11/30) and leave a comment under Tuesdays Post to win some blog candy****

Hi Everyone,
Welcome back to our Cricut Cartridge Adventure Series. Today we are going to be taking a look at the Cartridge Aniaml Kingom.

Here the picture that you will see on the back of the box.
I love the fact that these animal are all very realistic looking.

Wendy and I love our Create A Critter cartridge, but the aniamls on that cartridge as well as the ones on Zooballoo are a little more fun and cartoon looking.
One of the great creative features on this cartridge is the "Sounds" Feature.
This feature can be used with any of the other animal cartridges mentioned above.
In our Video today I'm going to be showing you how easy the Featured Project in your handbook can be to make. (See bottom of the post for insturctions on this project)
Wendy has made a Chrismas Card using this cartridge as well. See the picture of her project below as well.

Reindeer Food

****Don't forget to leave a comment under Tuesday's post (11/30) for a chance to win some blog candy****
Hi Everyone
I saw these made a couple of years ago on a blog and have made them every year since.  They are the perfect cutsie thing to give out to the kids in my family.  They get a real kick out of it.  So I made them again this year.  Each year they are a little different.  Last year I used the reindeer from Christmas Cheer.

I noticed that Craft Junkie Too made them and did a video on them also.  YAY!  So check out her video too maybe you'll like the way she made hers better.  It is cute!

Thanks Everyone,
