Hey Everyone,

 Here is my August Calendar page! Nothing from Wendy this week, she is a busy lady!
 I hope you all enjoy.

 I got to Skype with Wendy yesterday and finally got some Scrapbooking done! It was so awesome an while I was at it I did a bunch of videos for you guys! It was so much fun.

 I'm hoping to get another full day of scrapbooking in while my husband is still around to help with the kids! Wish me luck! I've needed this scrapbooking brake for awhile now! I've missed it like crazy.

CLS - Alter Chip Board Book

Happy Sunday,
 I hope everyone has had a great week! This Weeks Cricut Lite Series Episode is going to be a 2 parter! We will finish this book up next week!

 This week we are using B is for Boy and Sugar and Spice

These are great cartridges and I love them! We will be using them to cover a chip board album for a baby boy and I wanted you to see how you can use both of these cartridges for boys and girls! They work great together.

Super simple cuts that are fun to use for lots of different things!

LC Crafts

Hey Everyone,

 Here is a cute blog LC Crafts
 She recently posted on the Cricut Message board that she finished her 2009 Scrapbook and was starting on her 2010! I wish I was there.
 I've got 2 2009 scrapbooks to finish and is almost May!

So Excited.....

Hey Everyone,

 I'm so excited today is the big launch of the E2 and I have not been able to tune in yet, It starts in about 10 minutes and I'm going to eat lunch and watch and wish I had one! 

 The other thing I'm very excited about is Wendy and I have made plans to Scrapbook on Saturday! I'm spending all day in the room scrapbooking and getting caught up and I'm going to shoot some videos for everyone! That will be so much fun.

 To hold everyone over here are some cards that Wendy has been working on. They all look wonderful!

 Hope everyone has a great day watching the launch of the E2! Its going to be so exciting to see everyones layouts, I saw that Okies made it on TV! How awesome!

Sorry ....

Hey Everyone,
 I'm so sorry I haven't been around much this week. It has been a long week for me, as some of you know my family and I are in the middle of relocating. My husband has started his new job in California and is looking for us a place to live while in Nv with the kids.
 We are blessed to be able to stay with family but it has made like really really hard at times! 

 We also found out right before we moved that I'm pregnant! I'm about 14 weeks now. So I've been dealing with both the 3 year old and the 18 month old while in the middle of early pregnancy. I don't have great pregnancy. They are very hard on me.

 This week has been pretty stressful on me and I've just been having a hard time emotional. Sorry that is just really life right now.
 I'm in the middle of working on Layout (I have been working on it all week and only one picture now...) and I made a cute card that I'm hoping to get up next week sometime.

 There will be no August Calendar Page on Sunday I'm hoping to skype with Wendy and see what she has been working on the last few weeks (It feels like it has been years since I was even alble to talk to her) so maybe there will be something from her on Sunday!

 Next week my husband is coming up to see us (it has been 3 weeks since we last saw him) and I'm hoping to have a day of scrapbooking and catching up while he is here!

 I just want you all to know how much I love doing this blog and I've been missing really being able to do it, so hang in there with me and I promise it will get back to normal soon!

Hello Thursday this week!

Happy Tuesday Everyone,
 This Thursday is Hello Thursday? Which should make this week go by faster don't you think?
 I'm wonding what everyone is hoping for.
 My guess is we might see a Tangled Cart soon which I know Wendy and I would love, our daughters are WAY into that movie right now. I just got a text from Wendy last week and she said really love the movie Tangled, but pretty sick of watching it.
 It was funny because at that time my daughter was watching the movie too. I had to laugh.

 So what is everyone is hoping for and does anyone think that the Cricut Craft Room will be up and running come this weekend?

 After thought to this post:
        This morning I've been dealing with a bunch of business like stuff, I had to call provo craft to deal with some password stuff and then I updated my gypsy and hanging around getting thing fixed and I noticed sonme stuff.
 1st some of you guys got invites to try out the cricut craft room which leads me to believe that they are super close to opening it up for everyone! Yea I can't wait.

 And two when I updated my gyspys I found some sort of new sort of old carts.

July Calendar Page

Hey Everyone,
 Okay so here is my July Calendar page. Wendy hasn't got anything done past June yet. (She needs to get her butt in gear!!!!!!!!!!!)
 Next week I think we will be feature some other calendar pages from Wendy. She does 2 or 3 Calendars a year like I do, however for the most part we have never done all the calendars the same.
 Since they are for different people we have always designed then differently.
 This year to make this simple for me I'm doing all the 3 of my Calendars  the same. Wendy however is not doing that and she has been working on a few months in other calendars.
 So next week I think we will just check in with her and see how they are turning out.

Here is some pictuers of my project and as you can see I got my tripod back out and it was alot of fun doing this video for you guys, I love doing this and I have been missing be able to get these done the right way!

June Calendar Pages

Hey Everyone,
 Its Sunday again already! My weeks are flying by these days (And that is a really good thing) My husband is up visiting us this week and we are so excited! I like to take a day while he is around to sit and do some scrapbooking (he is a big help wi the kids when he is around)

The Simple Idea of Scrapbooking!

Hi Everyone,
 Both Wendy and I love scrapbooking, that is safe to say. We love it for many reasons.
 Its something that has kept us connect to one another as scrapbooking slipped into our lives around the same time.
 Its for sure like Therpy to us. As women alot of times we have tons of different things on our mind all the time. There is always a list of stuff that needs to be done and we have both found that Scrapbooking is the only time we can let our mind rest!
 Its very freeing to be able to creative!

 Anyone who knows us know we scrapbook and I get lots of people who say they can't scrapbook or won't try because its too expensive, too time consumming, they don't have room, or they just don't understand how to.
 I wanted to take a minute to talk about this.

 When I started out scrapbooking I had 1 paper pack and very very supplies. In fact they all fit into 1 medium size box.
 I would scrapbook at the coffee table, or lots of time right on the floor with all my supplies piled on the floor around me.
 I was happy with this and I was able to scrapbook just fine.

 As my hobby has grown I've added more stuff, found new techniques and add more steps to my pages.
 The idea of scrapbooking is simple. You take photos which we all have and you put them in an album which we all do anyways.

 You can scrapbook any picture in any album with any embllishments you like. It doesn't have to be fancy, or expensive! It just has to be you.

 Here are a few tips we have learned over the years.

1. LOOK every where for scrapbooking supplies.
 We have found scrapbooking supplies all kinds of different place. We don't limit our finds to Local Scrapbooking stores.
 I have found items in a hardware store!

2. COUPONS, COUPONS, COUPONS!
 We always sign up for coupons. Michaels, Joanns, Beverlys, Hobby Lobby all have coupons you can get through your email or in your mail box. We also find them online and print them out.
 There have times I've wanted something and waited a whole month until I could get the next coupon to get it.

3. Look at stores like Ross, T.J Max, Marshalls, Big Lots, Tuesday Mornings
 Often time these stores have awesome deals.
 Wendy and I both wanted a paper pack that only Joann's was offering and it was 20.00
 I was able to find it at Ross for 5
 Once I seen a paper pack online that someone had got in Canda at a walmart it was 20.00 I never could find it at my walmart but I found it at Ross for 7.99

4. Its not a timed event.
 If it takes you two years to get photos in an ablum then so be it. No one is timing you!
 This is an enjoyable event.
